JAMES

Vocalist & Guitarist

James spent his childhood living and breathing music, and that passion never stopped. His diverse career of more than a decade has taken James’ jaw-dropping voice and his guitar to four continents. He’s created game and film soundtracks, kids’ songs, radio jingles and his own releases as Yakobo, as well as being a respected music educator. Back in his teens his group even made it to Simon Cowell’s House on X Factor! But James’ favourite job is bringing the perfect vibes to a wedding, from soulful acoustic ceremonies to high-energy dancefloor fun. His mantra is to give 100%, because it’s never just another day at work – it’s always the best day of two people’s lives.

NATHAN

Drums, Percussion & Vocalist

I’ve been playing drums since I was 3. My first big performance came when I was 14, (2011). When an artist called Rainboy had got to the final of a competition called Live and Unsigned and had asked me to perform alongside him. The final was held at O2 Indigo. In 2013 I had taken all my drum grades (passing them all with distinctions) and In my first year of University on a Music Performance Degree course, I got a call to work with a touring band called Little Comets who I am still currently working with. I’ve gained experience playing in a number of different sized venues, from arenas, main stage festivals to Academy’s all around the UK. My highlight so far was supporting the band Catfish and the Bottlemen, whose album went to number 1 in the UK Charts. Since joining Little Comets, I have had the chance to tour and record with different artists playing drums, percussion and in some instances playing just electronics. For example, I have toured with an artist called Lao Ra supporting Anne Marie UK tour and also Crystal Fighters UK tour. And since June 2018 have been playing for MNEK.
